Fairly new to precision shooting, did a search and didn't see this question addressed, but I apologize if I missed it.
I am a lefty and was wondering whether it made more sense to get a left hand bolt gun for bench shooting and possibly competition or a right handed one. Selection would clearly be better in right-handed models and I could see the ergonomics of using a right hand bolt be better for keeping a shooting position, provided the gun was supported. OTOH, if the gun wasn't supported it could be hard to make that work.
Just curious what other members' experience was and whether going with a "wrong" handed bolt gun was common or not.
