I just ordered my first suppressor and I plan on using it on 2-3 guns while at the range. I figure after 50-100 rounds of multiple calibers it should get pretty hot and make it hard to swap...do those suppressor covers help while handling them hot? Would it be better to just have idk, maybe an extra suppressor? ;)

I just watched a video where a guy used a bbq glove to handle the suppressor and then he also rolled the glove over it to protect the bag you place it in etc. opinions on that? It seems like a great fix.

So... you don’t want to put a hot can on a cold set of threads. If you are going to swap, let it cool down, then swap. Most I have gone is 30 rounds from and AR. I was still able to remove it with ease using the mirage cover.

It's all dependent on caliber... 15-30 rounds and it's too hot to handle. Suggestion is to get a cover that is high temp, cover with a inner slip.
