Suppressors suppressor has excessive runout

Has anyone encountered a suppressor having 59 thousandths total runout?

just wondering if this is a common problem or if I just happened to get a lemon...

I've heard of a few, contact the manufacturer, they should take care of it.

Are you sure its the can and not the threading of the barrel?

Are you measuring the outside of the can or the actual bore of the can? From what I have heard, AAC cans if you measure the runout on the outside, it will never run true. But if you measure the bore it will since they EDM wire all their cans. The bore is the important part to have concentric.

the bore alignment is the main issue. Unless its not fully shouldred. how are you measuring it?

Screw silencer on barrel, look through barrel if you see anything but daylight then the bullet is going to hit the silencer.
