I am wanting to run a suppressor and a 10.5" barrel with a carbine length MOE hand guard but have been told that the heat of the suppressor will melt the end of the MOE.
Anyone know if this is true? By my figures, there would be about 1.5" between the hand guard and the suppressor.
The seller is recommending a quad rail type of an aluminum hand guard but I really do not care for them. Like the MOE style much better.
