I've seen some people that were adamant about running suppressors direct threaded vs with a QD mount, the implication being that the QD mount was somehow affecting accuracy. Is there any truth to this? I have both types and prefer the deadair sandman S with their great QD system and no barrel length restrictions.

A number of the older QD systems (looking at you, AAC) were notorious for not locking up tightly. However, most of the more modern designs are pretty decent in this regard. It could be argued that the best of both worlds would be a non-locking TOMB-style mount like TBAC and SAS offer... the advantages of that approach are that you have a conical shoulder (as opposed to a square shoulder for DT mounting) to which the suppressor can seat, and you're not locked in to a single (muzzle) thread size/pattern (because the brakes/mounts can typically be bought in different patterns).

All of that said, I've had great luck with the SiCo ASR system.

I use dead airs qd mounts and routinely get sub moa groups with my cans. Multiple cans swapping between multiple hosts and no issues with consistency. This Pic is the difference in zero swapping between my 6.5 creed barrel and my 308 on my axmc 5 round groups.
