Job Description

SureFire, LLC is a leading manufacturer of illumination tools and tactical accessories for those who would go in harms way, and for those who demand the ultimate in performance, technology, quality and innovation.

Summary
This position is responsible for providing the test fire with live ammuniction for department prior to delivery and sales allocation process. The Weapons Test Specialist will perform one or more of the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform testing of production suppressor with minimal oversight.
Perform the allocation, packaging and close out process.
Assist in range support activities as directed.
Solve problems and recommend solutions.
Works on own with minimal oversight.
Cross train and perform other job functions as required to maximize quality production.
Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable. Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager or Human Resources Manager.
Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries to your Supervisor or Manager immediately.
Other duties, as assigned by supervision or management.
Qualifications

Must be comfortable with firearms and live ammunition
Firearms handling experience a plus.
Familiar with ISO 9001and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Proven mechanical ability.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
Must be willing to work overtime as required.

Education
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and 2 years work experience.

Communication Skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts, proposals and plans.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform calculations utilizing arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division normally attained through elementary school education.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Knowledge of MS Excel is a plus.
