I have a Surefire Vampire V2 that I am using as an IR illuminator on a rifle.

Apparently Surefire has discontinued the model so I can't find any info on it anywhere that I have looked. I have also sent a message and tried to call Surefire with no response.
It has a crazy tail switch that is a combination of push and turn, IMHO it is a crappy design (maybe why they canned it).
Does anyone know if any of the other Surefire tail switches will work on it, preferably one that will allow a tape switch?
I am not sure if this one would work?

I know the current Scout series has a smaller diameter barrel/body, so those tail switches will NOT fit. I am not sure of the tail switch size of the Millennium Universal and Classic Universal Weapon Lights is the same as the Vampire V2?
Did I say that it is impossible to get an answer out of Surefire!
