I'm looking at a stock that is inletted for Surgeon DBM. If I want to get it and have it inletted for Badger metal will it work or is the surgeon larger?

The Surgeon is the best, and I've had them all. But keep in mind we are talking surgeon gets a 100 and badger gets a 97, so either way its a win win.

You can change inlet from badger to surgeon but not surgeon to badger. Just researched this. Went with surgeon DBM..

Nothing wrong with Surgeon. My old GAP had Surgeon and it was good to go. If you end up with that, its a great unit for approximately the same price as the Badger. I like the lever on the Badger better for faster mag changes because its bigger and easier to flip (more leverage), but I like the profile of the Surgeon better, seems more streamlined. Also, The Surgeon seems to guide the magazine home a little better. Both are win win. If you want the stock, don't hesitate because you have to use Surgeon.

Surgeon apparently has a lip that extends down below stock on front of the mag well. Badger does not.Nice for foward pressure on barricades.
