Surgeon or Badger, which inlet is bigger?

Would a McMillan stock inlet for the Surgeon SA bottom metal need to be opened up to fit a Badger M5? Or is the Surgeon larger, requiring a lot of bedding compound backfill to fit the Badger?

Surgeon.

It has less taper and is wider towards the front.
