Surgeon XL

Does anyone in the upper/mid Tennessee, lower Kentucky area have a Surgeon XL in 338LM I could take a look at and check out?

I am looking at starting a build on this action and have never messed with one before.

For a 338LM build, get the XL and dont look back.

Here's another one that sees plenty of use in Eastern Montana...GAP put this .338LM together.

I've meant to ask you before....Is that a thin strip of leather on the cheekpiece of your stock? How is it mounted?

Thats what it is.....secured with some tiny brass wood screws.

I was looking at maybe a Lawton or Pheonix action as well. But it looks like I may just follow my gut and go big with the Surgeon.
