I should have this by the end of next week. Of course I need to get it in first before I can process any brass as I intend to reload for it. It won't be a high volume gun, just a fun gun for short range steel whacking and deer and/or hog hunting. Keeping that in mind, I was thinking of staying with one bullet for whatever I do and thought the Hornady 165 SST would be a good choice. That way I minimize inventory and work on various loads. I do have some Sierra 165 Game Kings and have a load for my bolts with it but I don't know yet if they'll even work in this with chamber variances.
Since I ramble, thoughts on two points
Hornady 165 SST, one load
Sierra soft point function in semi
And I guess a third-I have an abundance (that's relative) IMR 4064 and lesser amount of H4895, any over riding reason to find some IMR4895?
I appreciate any input. Oh-while this may be an "accurate' gun, I have no visions of 1/2 moa and understand it is a semi auto carbine and moa will be "acceptable"
