I'm looking for a budget scope and really considering the Swampfox Kentucky Long 3-18 $370 or the Bushnell Nitro 3-12 for $250. Is there any inherent downsides of a 5x erector system vs a 3x that I should know about when comparing these two scopes? Looks like there KL beats the Nitro in every way except 1" longer and 4oz heavier. Only down side is the dumb MOA reticle without fine crosshairs, Bushnell beats Swampfox on reticle easily.
