Swappable M5 DBMs?

Thinking of converting my 700P (HS precision stock) to a M5 DBM. I have a bunch of AICS mags but I love the smooth lines of the stock hinged floorplate. Hawkins makes an M5 pattern standard floor plate and an AICS DBM. In theory, if they are both M5, I should be able to buy both and switch between them correct? Or would the pillar/action screw depths be different?

Hmmm.

You could get a hunter style DBM and 3 rd mag for when you want “clean lines” and just run reg mags the rest of the time.

I think Hawkins makes one of those?

Best answer on swapping would come from looking at the technical drawings or maybe asking Hawkins.

Seems less gooder in my brain to be swapping parts like that.

Hawkins has m5 tactical ddm, m5 hunter flush dbm, and m5 oberndorf bdl.
