what does anyone know about or have experience of the swarovski habicht 6-18x50 1" AO scope with TDS 4 retical? this is a discontinued model. value for one NIB? thanks.

I believe that this scope is part of the older AV series.
I think it would be safe to refer to the TDS reticle as Swaro's 1st generation BDC reticle. It is the precursor to the BRX,BRH,and BR reticles currently used in their scopes.
Going off of memory alone, I believe this scope sold for somewhere between $1100-1200.
Just because it is discontinued doesn't mean that they can't still fix it if you ever need it serviced. From my understanding they keep parts around for many MANY years after the production of a particular model has ended.
The AV series was my first adventure into European glass and I haven't had any regrets.

I just sold one that was NIB for $860. It is an excellent scope. However the one I sold had the ballistic turret, not the ballistic reticle. Tom.

my guess wouldbe around 800
