New member first post.I recently received a Swarovski ZFM 6X42Z Model 575,in the manuel it is listed Sniper Scope.This scope appears to be new in the box.It has 1 crosswire and a post.What do I have and is it suitable for long range shooting within the limit of the scopes power. I have tried to research it with limited results.Instruction manuel is dated 1996.Wnat is the value of this scope,it was acquired in trade.

I have one, it used to be the scope found on the SSG 69 but has since changed over to the Kahles version of the same scope.
Don't know the value, but can say the package gun I bought in 1990 with the same scope and rifle was $1800 for both. So it would appear the it was $400 to $500 when included with the rifle.
I think my BDC turrets stopped at 800m, its in the back of the safe, so I'd have to look.
