Added a new Swarovski x5i (illuminated)
5-25x56 , BRM reticle

This would not necessarily be a “tactical” scope (2nd vs first focal etc.)

Typical AMAZING glass. I have 4 of these and the el range binoculars. (Maybe my eyes are getting old but I wish “reality” looked as good as it does through this!)
I have 7 or so old-school unertls, custom Mitchell scopes, schmidt/bender, nightforce. The SWs are at the top for clarity/image quality) The adjustability is positive, extra hidden battery is a plus, extra high Talley rings are perfect.
Anyway, another happy customer. If you are looking for a great hunting scope, consider the Swarovski

These have the most exceptional image quality I've seen in a riflescope so far. Though I haven't been able to compare to a TT side by side.
Yeah, I love mine, but I just recently maxed the elevation out and back to zero and it didn't hold zero. Maybe I was pussy torquing the set screws.

I have looked at these many times and almost caved in and bought 1. I love the glass in their scopes. Does the sight picture stay as bright on 25 as it does on the lower powers?

I had a 3.5-18 version on my 300 norma improved, handled recoil like a champ. No issues holding zero either. Image quality is f'n outstanding. I wish swaro would build a ffp version with lower profile turrets and a good mil based tree reticle. I bet it'd hang right with zco and theta optically, maybe even best em. Swaro isn't know for durability but I've had zero issues with mine. It was however replaced with an nx8 4-32x50 as I wanted more magnification and ffp. The swaro glass outclasses the NF by a mile though.

They kind of do. They are the same company as Kahles. Kahles was absorbed by Swarovski in the late 1990s. Then they decided to make Kahles their tactical company about 7 or 8 years ago.

Kind of the same thing that happened with Hendsolt. They became the tactical line of Zeiss.

Hensoldt have always been the military branch of Zeiss dating back as far as WW1.
