Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z6 3-18-50

Does anybody have any experience with this scope outfitted with a ballistic turret? I am looking at one for my 308 hunting rifle.

The turrets limit you to one rotation or about 14 moa?

Enough for hunting out to 500 yards or so but not exactly a great “long range” scope.

If you used a 20 moa base would that get you out further?

No. Because the turret is limited to one revolution by the zero stop. The 20 moa base would only help if you ran out of elevation before the turret made one rev.
