Swatcom Active8 or Comtac V defenders?

Already have a set of mic'd Liberator II (TCI's version of Sordins) soni don't need another comm capable earpro. This is mainly for the wife/handout set.

Narrowed down my search to the Swatcom ( https://srstactical.com/swatcom-active8-waterproof-headset-neckband-gel-ear-seals.html ) which look like they were released last year after the re-acquisition of MSA, so they are essentially Sordin 2.0s.

Alternatively I was looking at the Comtac V defenders however they are roughly $100 more for not that much extra benefit that I'm seeing. The one main benefit I see is the ability to go from arc mount to headband super easy. To me this point is kind of moot as the Swatcom behind the neck does the same thing.

From what I understand, just a tether on the battery cap and it's water proof. I'm not sure if their "asic digital programming" is any better than the Sordin supreme pro-x.
