Rifle Scopes SWFA SS 5-20 HD Concern

I just got my SS in today and am really liking it over my BSA. One thing I'm concerned about is that I guess you can unscrew the front objective bell. I noticed this when I was trying to remove the front butler creek cap I was twisting while pulling and noticed that the objective bell was rotating. After pulling off the cap, I noticed that there was no loctite or anything securing it besides an o-ring for friction. I didn't pull it off, but I'm assuming that's what's causing the friction for the objective bell.

Anyone else notice this with their scope?

Just tried mine. I can't get it to move with just my hands. I'd get in contact with SWFA and see what they say.

Plus one on contacting SWFA, that should definitely not happen!

Sounds you need to return it for an exchange
