Swiss Model 1881, 10.4 mm RimFire

This thing worth buying?
A guy at my g/f's base (Work) has this for sale as well as 3 or 4 8mm Mausers (Pm if interested).

Was thinking this ws kind of cool but not sure it's worth $400...(I would resell it)

I have one I bought 20 years ago for 50 bucks just because it was cool. Have seen a few for sale that go for 250 to 350.Just out of curiousity does that one have M81 stamped on it? If I remember the M81 didn't have the checkering on the stock, could be wrong it's been awhile since I've researched them. As for reselling it , I think you would have to find someone with hardon for one.

it is a bit pricey, there was a sniper variant that had a double set trigger

If it's the guy I think it is selling them he would get pissy if I offered him $100 but that's all I would offer him for it.
