I am switching from the Tac A1 chassis to an MPA. I do not remember seeing a barrel lug on the TAC A1. Will I need one for the MpA.

I have never fondled a Tac A1, but I would assume there is a recoil lug. You will need one with the MPA. My CTR had one and I want to say that it worked with the KRG X-Ray, but I don't remember as it's been a while since I've had it apart.
I’ve never had my car apart... How difficult is this? Or should I say how easy is it to screw up in someway? I was thinking that if I tried to do it and put it into a KRG I would end up screwing the accuracy of the gun or something up in someway. Thoughts?
No. Relax. You literally cannot mess anything up unless you put the action screws back in with a 1/2” impact.
I was just always afraid of doing something to mess with the accuracy.... So just reassemble to factory torq specs?

Torque to 65 in lbs and be done. The MPA captures the whole front area of the receiver and does not have a recoil lug like the stock does, but it is solid.
