How do certain groups make these amazing ELR and ULR Shots with optics that have limited adjustment ?

The TacomHQ Charlie Tarac Scope booster.

When you read about the Canadians making this incredible 2 Mils shot on an ISIS Fighter, well this is the secret sauce. It’s a game changer. Simple and Robust. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"https:\/\/www.snipershide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_2872-1200x900.jpg"}[/IMG2]TacomHQ Charlie Unit Magnetic Mount

Mechanical Addition of up to 120 Mils. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"https:\/\/www.snipershide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_2467-1200x900.jpg"}[/IMG2]TacomHQ Charlie Unit
As you can see this is very similar to a periscope. In this version it attaches via a magnetic mount that attaches to your scope’s objective. It’s pre-calibrated from TacomHQ or the end user can set and change the mil addition. With a maximum value of 120 MILS this little unit adds a lot to the equation. Bring Marksmanship back by Maintaining a consistent Cheek Weld

As you can see, Walt here shooting his Steyr .50 Cal is able to maintain a typical and consistent cheek weld. Adding too much base to the rifle will require him to compromise his head position. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"https:\/\/www.snipershide.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/SH_HD_KO2M50Calbase-1-2-1348x900.jpg"}[/IMG2]King of 2 Mile Competition
Here is a typical rifle you might see at the King of 2 Mile competition which finished up this week. In order to use the adjustments in your scope a very big, aggressive base must be used. The rifles have a 1000 yard zero which can add a lot of variables to the mix.

The Charlie Tarac unit adds this to your optic from your typical 100 yard zero using your standard scope base. In short, nothing changes, you set up the rifle like you would anything else, then line the Charlie Unit up with a plumb bob and you effectively doubled or tripled your scope’s reach.

With a 20 Mil Charlie Unit, snapping it on from a 100 yard zero instantly gives you 20 Mils, so if the target is 22 Mils away, you just dial up 2 Mils. The unit retails for just $1500. It can easily be swapped from rifle to rifle with no changes in it’s mechanical properties. There are several mounting options from a magnetic scope mount as shown above or via a QD Pic Rail Mount.
