Got to the range after trying things out in the backyard and realizing something was bad wrong. Thinking my scope had took a nosedive, I took can back off to confirm scope was ok. Rifle without can shoots 1" at 50yds. Put can back on and it will not consistantly hit 10" plate at 50yds.
Took can apart, no sign of baffle strikes. Shot without can again, shoots fine. Back on, same results.
Put can on my CZ and sig 1911-22, shoots fine.
Got back home and gave the upper a once over and everything looks fine. Maybe hanging a SS can on an aluminum barrel is more than it can take.
Tomorrow I'll try to contact Tactical Solutions and see if they can provide some info on what might be the problem.
Anyone else had problems putting a heavy can on an aluminum barrel?
