Tactical 20 Loads?

The problem with some calibers is that there are no factory bullets, necessitating hand loads. The other problem is that not very many people shoot the Tac 20.

1+1=Not many loads available on the net.

I have exhausted Saubier's forum for publicly posted loads, and found a few others around. I know a couple of guys shoot the Tac 20 . . .

What are you using for loads? I currently have H322, Benchmark, RL-10x and VV N133. I have looked up Hodgdon's database, but only found loads for bullets I don't have. I have contacted Sierra for any loads they might have, and they replied with what boils down to "We have no clue, check Hornady". Hornady has 1 bullet in their book (32 grain V-Max), and though I'll be messing with those some, I'm very interested in the Sierra 39 BK bullets.

Re: Tactical 20 Loads?

.204 data is pretty darn close.
Coupla predator hunters & p-doggers on NPHA forums shoot the .20TAC, myself included...

Also, Todd Kindler's 'Terrific Twenties' book has a good amount of data for the .20TAC...

I'm runnin' moly'ed 35Bergers @ 4K from my 22" AR with H322. 25.0grs is HOT, so watch yo-self!
also ran Moly'ed 40 Bergers & Benchmark, but need to re-work that one a bit. Gonna be giving those 39BKs you are wanting to try a chance with Benchmark too. A 39BK anywhere near 3800 should make for a fine p-dog load...
