I am trying to get some rings for my father's new rifle. It is a Thompson Center Icon. It has a built in weaver style rail. I need to get some rings for it. He would prefer tactical style rings, in aluminum, and less than $75. Looking for medium rings for a 1" tube. Most of the rings I'm familiar with are for picatinny rails. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your time.-MSD

TPS makes tactical 1" rings for weaver bases and I've been very impressed with the quality of their rings.

I was looking recently and TPS was just about the only company making the type of ring you are looking for. I purchased a set of steel TSR "W" rings for my 30 mm scope. 1 inch rings are also available

Well I've had great results. I've got them on two rifles now.

No problem. Oh, and one of the sets I have is on a lightweight .338 win mag, so they're pretty tough rings.

Leupold Mark 4 rings or go with some Leupold PRW rings. I have used the PRW rings a they are solid rings.
