I was looking at the Tactical Supply talon bipod feet for an Atlas but seems like their website is no longer working. Are they still around? Hawk Hill the better alternative?
I have the Tactical Supply Talon bipod feet. I liked the way they work in sandy soil or hard packed soil. I also liked the design of the Tactical Supply feet a like little better with the circular foot part around the spike. .
Just wanted to follow up. I ordered the Hawk Hill talons and holy crap does it grip to everything. I went around my house and loaded up my bipod on difference surfaces. Smooth garage concrete floor, wood, grass, plastic lid on a storage box.. Everything was fine except for smooth tile flooring. That was a given. Other than that I like it so far.
I keep the Hawk Hills in stock, they are a great replacement for the Atlas - they do seem to handle a lot of various terrain, but I do also really like the standard rubber feet on the Atlas, just not for soft materials like sand etc...
