As far as the 10 power etc (non HD)....Is there a difference? Did SWFA just buy the line and change the name or are there significant differences between the two?

Same scope. Same factory that has always made it.
Tasco was a marketing agency just like swfa.

Re: Tasco Super Sniper VS SWFA Super Sniper

Both have very mushy clicks. I really wanted to like either one. Tried both. Returned both.

I was not able to get past the mushy clicks even enuf to mount the scope.

1. remove turret caps
2. remove existing lube
3. dry "O" rings
4. relube with dielectric silicone, sparingly
5. replace turret caps.
Mushy click erased.

Too bad Tasco / SWFA didn't tell me that. Oh, well too late for me, but maybe this will help others.
