MAnners said 16-20 weeks, anyone know of any other satical style for the HOMA 1500 Long Action that is obtainable in a couple months...or at all? They seem to be hard to find. Thanks.
If you want the Manners order it and wait, you'll be happier in the long run. I've been waiting 5 months for my Mcmillan, and I hate waiting. But I know once APA is done with it, it will have been worth the wait.
Manners is worth the wait, I had a T5a on my 1500 Long action and it was great. Otherwise you can use a hogue overmold, with a full length bedding block....it's not bad, but not great... You'll be happier with the manners.

This will fit the howa 1500 LA but I don't know if it has the varmint barrel channel... More than likely it's made for sporter weight barrels.
Have you given any consideration to the McRee line? I bought mine online, never seen it until the day UPS dropped it off. Being a lefty stock choices are limited but it fits great, has all the adjustments you need. The others that have shoot my rifle all had positive comments on the stock. Without the folder it cost less then most others entry stocks.
I have a Manners MSC T3 on my Howa LA 6.5x55 and can thoroughly recommend it. A mate has the T5 and it is very comfortable.
I've just put a Roedale RSC II on my Tikka T3 .223 and although I haven't shot the rifle since the upgrade, it's a massive improvement in how it feels and handles.
But, if you have set your sights (no pun intended) on a Manners, I agree with the other members, wait, it's worth it.
Tacticool-rosie, the Roedale RCS II or the XLR are your best bet for a chassis. I talked to Kyle at XLR about one for my .300 wm, and he said that even though they don't have the blueprint for the LA, just to send my barreled action in and they would draw it up and build one at no extra charge.
OP, if you want a Manners, order it and wait. I waited 6 months for my McMillan 5 years ago, and let me tell you it was well worth the wait. I keep eyeballing the XLR and RCS II, but I just can't seem to convince myself to get rid of my MCM.
