Ok all here is the question, my eight year old little girl is turning into a shooting nut. I get all the time "daddy the 22 is boring, I want the M4". Some of you know tha,t I'm building her own as we speak. Here is the question, she wants to shoot real far like daddy does, should I start teaching her MOA or go right to Mills. Now I tell ya, I'm leaning more to mills because I can keep her interested in math more. We can work on equations and make math fun. However, when I was young I learned MOA first. Her nex.t build will be a 6.5x47 so she will be able to reach, I just want to keep it fun. I think I also like the idea that she willbbe able to mess with the boys when she gets to That age, most boys have no idea what a mill is. Any thoughts?

Go mils. The factors of 10 will keep it from getting cumbersome.

As a side note, stretch that 22LR target back to 300 yds. That makes shooting a 22 a lot more interesting.
