TEC-GIII 6.5CM

I was looking at pics of the SFAR on dogpile and came across a new rifle thats going to be released Dec 15th. Have you guys heard of this company and what do you think of the 20" version 1/8th twist chambered in 6.5CM? Its 50% more $$ than the SFAR and weighs a few pounds more but its 6.5CM! Thoughts?

So, it is substantially more expensive than the SFAR. It is significantly heavier than the SFAR. It doesn’t use SR25 mags. And it is in 6.5 creedmoor. In essence, the only similarity to the SFAR is that it is a semiauto rifle. Why was the SFAR brought up?

Regardless, my thoughts. 21st century tec? Never heard of her. No seriously.

This feels like a rifle whose sole reason for being is to be different. So it accepts G3 mags. Virtually no one complains about the reliability of sr25 pattern mags. Maybe if you’re sitting on a pile of grandfathered G3 mags and can’t get sr25 mags? Maybe, but you probably can’t get this rifle where you live anyway. The rest is boiler-plate large frame AR. Yeah, it’s way cheaper than most other large AR offerings, but those others are expensive for a reason.

IDK. Buy it. Run 1000 rounds through it. Give us your review.
