Re: Teeeeheeeehehehe

The AAC EVO-45 is not hearing safe dry.

The new tiRant is. The new Silencerco Osprey is.

Here is a video that i made at the Osprey Demo. While the Video camera is a poor way to comepare the sound, you can hear that the EVO-45 is much louder than the Osprey when shot dry.

The EVO-45 was one of the best .45acp cans before this year.

Its hard to describe the sound. Its obviously not hollywood quiet. I have no problem with it being hearing safe. Its just a different sound than any other suppressed firearm I have.

Ha, its raining outside. Just put one mag through it for kicks to see how it sounded. Also did a mag dump with the suppressed uzi since we were outside.

I think a lot of that comment depends on what one considers hearing safe. I've heard mixed reviews on if the Evo 45 is or is not hearing safe. Without any scientific info or such I would call it hearing safe just from what I heard last night of mine but again, thats not a controlled test and just an opinion. It was a bit quieter than I was expecting.

I actually have one of those Osprey cans on its way for testing next to the EVO-45 and have heard great things about it. Or let me clarify, my good friend (SOT) has one coming for testing. I haven't transferred my Evo yet cause I want to hear the Osprey first before making a decision on which one comes home with me.

Watching that vid, is the Osprey reverse threads? Cause that could be a problem right there for me.
