I have a Rem700 that I am doing for an M40A1 buil. I seen on Mcmillan Gunsmith Specials, a HTG in forest camo with all the bells and whistles but inletted for a Templar V2 action. On GAP's website, it states that the V2 will "still fits a Model 700 style stock nicely" i.e. Templar V2 will fit into a Rem700 inletted stock. My question is is it compatible in the reverse scenario?.... e.g. Will a Rem700 barreled action fit into a Templar V2 inletted stock (with some minor tweaks)?
