Hi guys! My English is not good. I use google translator.

I've recently purchased A Terrapin X rangefinder.
After reading the laudatory reviews and all kinds of video reviews forums and sites. One of the most famous comparison tests was here

But if you look at it, then there was a test on a huge target 30 x 42 inches = 106 x 76 cm. For this purpose, he copes perfectly.

If you compare the Terrapin X with other rangefinders, then it surely surpasses them.

I went to the shooting range and it was my first surprise the Terrapin X digital mark is 2-3 times more than the original Terrapin. From 600 m small targets (10-15 cm) Terrapin X does not measure.

The measurements were taken from tripods, placing 2 rangefinders side by side. According to performance characteristics, the Terrapin X beam divergence is less than that of the old one. It was amazing for me too.

For example: target with a diameter of 20 cm is mounted on a thin reinforcement, a distance of 740 m. A pointer with the number of the target is installed next to it. The pointer is measured by Terrapin X, but the target itself is not. The beam passes through it and rests against the embankment of the shooting range, showing 820 m.

Old Terrapin clings to this target , the number 740m blinks and the next press shows the distance to the embankment 820m.

At a distance of about 600 m, target is installed on a wooden leg. So Terrapin X detects the target, but does not. And the old Terrapin easily measures both the target and the leg .

The maximum distance that I could measure was 2500-2700m in the city at home with the declared 3000m. The old terrapin measures houses beyond 4000m.

So these tests are not always objective.

At a distance above 500 m Terrapin X does not see a duck on the water from a height of the 16th floor.
Those measurements are taken from a height.

The Xerrapin X does not measure the concrete electric pole at a distance of 800-900 m, but the old one easily measures .

The old Terrapin measures better than the new one. And I was very upset by this fact.

I've bought it to measure distances to small targets of 15-20 cm (birds) I carried out the test and the old Terrapin surpasses it at long range.

That's it.

etched reticle and a more powerful laser - doubt the next commercial laser will surpass the 05. A big plus is having Bluetooth on the X.
