Texans get out and vote!

Urging all Texans to get out and vote in the primary today (I know many have already voted early). There are some very important issues on the ballot as well as some candidates for state and fed offices. I really like Louie Gohmert for our state AG, Paxton has done an OK job but has some baggage and screw the Bush dynasty. Dawn Buckingham is a solid choice for land commissioner. I like Huffines stand on some issues for governor but he just doesn't have the juice behind him so I'm still going with Abbott.
Sorry mods if this is political. Just want patriots to get out and vote.

Yes get out vote in the primaries that’s where we have more influence on these RINO’s. My district was redrawn this year and now Dan Crenshaw is my congressman so I’m voting against him and for one of the other three candidates.

As for Governor I disagree with you wanting to vote for Abbott now in the primary. All of these politicians know most of us will vote for them in the general election however in the primaries they get nervous. Ever since Allen West and Don Huffines came out and said they would primary Abbott he got a little better. You have to attack these Republicans from the right to pull them our direction or they start leaning to the left.

If Abbott doesn’t get 50% of the vote plus one it will go to a run off in May. Then you have debates between Abbott and either Huffines/West beating him up on various issues. Put some heat on Abbott to step up and stop relying on executive orders and not rallying the legislature to pass more conservative laws on the books. Abbott lost me on the extended lock downs and extended mask mandates. Have friends who lost their businesses due to lock downs and lost jobs due to vaccine mandates and all we got was an executive order that has no teeth. Make ’em sweat and squirm!

I already voted. In my area we have had (literally) a 10 to 1 turnout. For every one Democrat, there have been 10 Republican votes. Our elections, at least where I am at are determined in the primary.

In my part of the state, the Republican ballot had a lotof issues and bills on it, not just candidates. The Democrpic ballot has NO issues, or bills, just candidates.

Hey Wade I apologize for the Fuck off comment> You and I seem to agree on most things. Like I said, we take care of our two grandsons and I have some other health issues. I did not want to get the vax but situations being what they are I did it. We all make our own decisions.
Hopefully we can get this Republic back on track.
