My parents felt bad about missing my Birthday earlier this year due to a vacation, and since I'm home all day going stir crazy they decided to give me a late birthday/early Christmas present. My dad had mentioned to my mom that I was in need of some reloading components so she called and said, "make up an order and I'll buy it." I dont like to take things from them because they have always been more than generous to me, but she was very insistent. So I looked at Creedmoor's website and ordered a 500 box of 175 SMK's and a 600 box of 75 Amax's, I checked Midway too, but they were OOS on the 175's and Creedmoor was a few bucks cheaper too.
Here is where it starts to get good, they shipped it FedEx 2 day and when I got the package, it felt a bit light.
Upon opening the box I was happy to see the familiar green colored box from Sierra, and a cornhusker red box from Hornady, but the red one was way too small to be 600. Sure enough, they had sent me a 100 box instead of the 600. I imediately called Creedmoor to inform them of this gross inaccuracy, the CS rep was freindly and took my nuber and I was told I would be contacted shortly. After an hour or so the phone rang and she told me, they cant overnight me another box because it would cost more than the bullets are worth, but she said they would 2 day ship me another box of 600 and that the box of 100 were mine to keep. WOW! that is fantastic service, while I would rather they'd gotten it right from the start, its nice to see them step up and take care of the problem. They will be getting another order from me soon.
