[/FONT][FONT=&quot]Wyoming: Bill Repealing State Prohibition of Hunting With Suppressors Takes Effect Today[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]In February, Governor Matt Mead (R) signed into law [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]Senate File 132[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=&quot], legislation introduced by Senator Ogden Driskill (R-01) that allows the use of suppressors for hunting all game in the Cowboy State. Thanks to passionate input from gun owners and sportsmen, the Wyoming House of Representatives voted[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]44 to 14[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot]in favor of this pro-hunting reform while the state Senate [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]voted 23 to 7[/FONT][/FONT][FONT=&quot]. The reforms in this bill take effect today. [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

Man! I wish GA lawmakers would quit being a bunch of bitches and get it done here. We don't have p-dogs but we got hogs that need to be shot more quietly. Maybe I should just move!

Congrats! Got mine in WI when I lived there, and now live in AZ where you can hunt as well. Not sure I'd live anywhere else (that doesn't allow hunting) once you shoot and hunt suppressed!

i took full advantage of this and hit some prairie dogs in WY the other day. It was my first time using my DTA in .260 with 139 Scenars. I was surprised to see a few shots rival the explosive results typically found with my 22-250. Now, I just need my shooting buddies to get their form 4s back from the ATF.

That's great! Texas opened up last year and now allows suppressors for hunting game animals. Just makes sense. After the politicians passed a law allowing hogs to be shot from helicopters we knew they'd come to their senses shortly on suppressors.

Great to see over half the nation has this passed now. What can a individual do to help this process along? We haven't passed this in Michigan yet, and I really don't know how to get involved. I have wrote our Department of Natural Resources commissioners without any responses. Wondering where to go from here.

Some lawyers worked on the silencer issue. I don't know if anyone is writing legislation to enable hunting with suppressors. You might want to contact Steve Dulan to find out. He teaches at Cooley Law School and he's head of MCRGO.
