I received this on an E-mail from the Denver Gazette this morning. An article titled "A Loaded Pistol to Grandma's head." I have never visited their sight, read their paper, or subscribed to their emails. I did not even know of their existence. Did anyone else in CO get this?

Local schools are going remote again. Not because so many people are getting sick, but because 2 or 3 sick people cause so many people to be quarantined that can't operate. Half these quartiles are stemming from presumed positives and ar up in a week, when no one tests positive. The case that did have a positive was a preschooler, who are exempt from masks. He was at school sick all day, and no one else caught it.

My sons teacher tested positive for covid, so he had to quarantine for 10 days, then the army said I had to quarantine also for ten days. However my wife and other son who reside in the same house didn't have to.

Let's do this shit straight across the board amd not what's most convenient here.....

This is why so many people call this a farce.

I didn't receive anything from them by the way.

Didn't get that email but have gotten plenty of similar from the church of Covid type sources with suitable fear mongering.

My kids also getting punted back to "remote" (i.e. nonexistent) learning after Thanksgiving too. I'm sure the narrative is that they need to make sure they can "allow us to have Christmas" as I've seen that idiocy parroted from other Dem governors/talking heads.

This article was eye opening.

We have had several people in the office quarantined. One of them tested positive. He said he was really tired for a week, and lost his sense of taste which has yet to return. Himself and one child got it, his other two kids and wife did not.

My guess is kids that are 3-10 years old right now. Will have a much higher drop out rate than what we are used to. Getting worse the further down that age scale you go, and worse yet for any of them that are slightly behind the curve.

I do know 6 months of 2 weeks to flatten the curve didn't seem to get us anything. i also know the reaction now when we know for a fact the death rate of this is below .1% should not be the same as when they were claiming 5% or more. It also doesn't seem to be nearly as contagious as has been said.

Just got tested for a second time 2 min ago. I don’t understand why how they test keeps changing.
First time one side for 10sec this time both sides maybe 5 seconds each he didn’t count out loud.
My son 4 has missed school twice now. 14 days when my parents both had it and now school closed for 14 because he tested positive. My wife has to miss 14 days nurse I just have to be tested and show HR a negative test and I can go back to work I’m a mechanic.

My brother in law spent 5 days in the hospital because of this shit. Not that he is 200 pounds overweight and has a bad heart. His son tested negative. They sent out another test. Why because he had a false negative. It is all about control.

Here's my conspiracy theory... would make a good book!

Republican president is highly unlikely to lose a 2nd term election when the economy is strong. So tank the economy and you have a chance to win the election.

How to do that... release a highly contagious, slightly worse than a flu virus. You don't want to kill everyone. Just really scare the masses.

Oh... and make sure before you release it, you have a way to control and stop it. At least for the most part.

But then you forget that people are not trusting in fast tracked vaccines. Shoot... the plan is going off the rails. So now what? Just scare them more... more cases. Hospitals full. More closures. More restrictions. Even curfews and local travel bans. The people have to listen now!

And then release the good news that we have not one... but multiple vaccines that are 90-95% effective! We can save everyone as long as you take the vaccine.

Win the election and move into the new phase of "democracy"...
