I don't get actor/businesses/etc and politics......when you take a particular political stance you pretty much isolate yourself from half of the people that support you. I agree.......DeNiro is a douche!
I personally couldn't care less what an actor/actress political beliefs are. I watch their movies to see them play the role they're assigned to. Scarface is my favorite movie of all time and there's no fucking way I'm gonna boycott that movie all because Pacino is an Obama loving Democrat. I swear people boycott shit for the dumbest reasons. Reminds me of a 6 year old child who doesn't get their way and they hold their breath because they're boycotting air. Oh well, to each their own I guess.

DeNiro is a windbag douche but he's still one hell of an actor. Combined with Joe Pesci and Al Pacino with Scorsese directing...
This is pretty much my view as well.
A) boycotts have limited, if any, real impact, and B) all they achieve is to grant additional attention (I.e., free advertising, as in "There is no such thing as bad publicity...") to the boycotted...; so C) they're pretty much a case of wasted energy, and a fine source of counterproductive personal internal stress.
I need more stress like a(nother?) hole in the head...

Al Pacino keeps his thoughts to himself. DeNiro is a raging piece of shit and I no longer watch anything he is in.
Can't bring myself to spend money that enriches people and companies that promote the things that impact me and mine in a negative manner. Won't pay to see any movie where the actors are vocal in promoting things that go against the Constitution. Yes, they have their right to say what they think and I have my right to not provide them with financial gain - no matter how small that might be.
