I recently purchased the new rem 700 long range in a 7 mag. I've had two trips to the range with it. On my last visit I experienced a failure to eject fired cartridges. I used 4 different types of boxed ammo and the problem was with all of them. I examined the chamber looking for rough grooves or anything that would bind the cartridge. I could not find anything! I examined the cartridges and found the spent case is bulged in before the band. The inward bulge does not go the whole way around though. I can be easily felt. Using a dial caliper I can measure about 1.5 thousands difference. Any advice?
