Whey the fuck am I bringing this up?

Watch a few minutes of each on speaking. Dont think politics, or families, just look at the men and how they conducted themselves. With dignity and respect. Both of these men served in WWII, 'signed that blank check'. They were Americans. There would never be any question of selling out, they were Americans. Yeah, Nixon opened trade with the Chicoms, but I think the intent was to use trade as a way spread democracy. So far that hasnt worked out to well.

Now think of whats up there today.

Which brings me to finally understand what troubles me about Trump. Im not condemning him, just expressing a thought.

Aside from vacations, maybe a hobby, and family, I want a president who spends near 100% of his time governing, not being involved in little tweeting matches, and making up names for every body. Thats forth grade stuff. You only have so much time and energy in a day. If you spend 40% of that energy and time on chickenshit little battles with chickenshit little people, then youre cheating the people and the country. I thnk that if he'd just kept his mouf shut more, and tended to being president with that energy he would have accomplished a lot more.

Yup, debates nowadays are like a shitty reality show with even shittier acting. A month or so ago I watched the Carter-Reagan debate from 1980. The civility shown there and in the Kennedy-Nixon debate is something we don't see anymore. Sure, it's entertaining and all, but it's not solving anything other than just giving us a laugh. I don't want other countries to fear us, but rather respect us, and it's very difficult for other countries to respect us given what's been going on in our government.

So were the media of the time that covered these debates, to a much larger extent. Today the MSM is a de facto wing of the socialists. You're overlooking the fact that the mean tweets were the only way for Trump to get his true message out while also calling attention to the fact that the MSM was actively working to prevent it, and also that his opponents were lying while the MSM covered for them.

Besides looking like a Jerry Springer show today’s Presidential. debates need better moderation. with Trump instead of discussing important matters he always wants to saber rattle. Trump had 4, years in the White House and instead of becoming more presidential like during that time he continued to behave like a childish bully. He did not grow or become more sophisticated day one was the same as his last day. This was a major reason why many who ” let’s give him a chance”, parted ways in the second election. Then again my opinion is Dominion selected the winner not the voters.

Youre correct, the media then was actually journalism...for the most part. I didnt overlook that, it just comes back to another thought I expressed in another thought. that is "Base your actions on right/wrong, or good/evil, moral/immoral, and not what others do."

There are many who have shit on me, one stole my retirement. Had I responded in kind, he would have hurt terribly, for a short time. I had to walk the fuck away or compromise my value system and honor. Not virtue signaling here, I wanted to kill him but there are consequences to every action.

No shit!! All 75 million that voted for him the second time were fucking idiots!!
BTW. That's the highest number of true votes any candidate has ever gotten. But you have your reality and I wouldn't want to disturb it.

We have an Election Day for a reason, early voting and mail in ballots are a disservice to our voting processes & infrastructure, created to undermine the individual voter. You may not agree with me, to imply it is a disturbed reality because it does not fit what you believe, shows your inability to have an adult like dialog "ever gotten" 75 million, sure if you say so, you are always right.
