Thanks to Jim at Northland Shooters supply for support with my 280.

30 rds. load testing. 30 rds. shake down Thursday with one load. First round of the day impact at 1000yds. Friday. It is still interesting. Saturday, four rounds to get the 1200yd target. All were close but one that fell short.
Now to re check my load. I think the gun shoots.
162 over 56.2 H 4831, Rem brass, new / fl sized.

George Gardner threaded a barrel for me to install a Ranger many years ago. It fit with precision and tightened to a stop like carbon brakes on an Enzo.
I get the Remington thread / shoulder and still believe it is the best.
This is however a fun project. In expensive and except for, so far, a few fliers working as planned. Wish it were throated a bit farther. Were easier to find a solid node, We will see.
