So today's eclipse brought 77% coverage here in the UP.

This first shot is about ten minutes before the full 77% was blocked.
This second one was immediately prior to our Max of 77%
The interesting thing was we had just enough cloud cover to use as a filter. The sun would be completely blocked and you could see a thin area coming up. Get set and shoot away. Glad it kind of worked.

These last two show what you cant see me doing and that is using the clouds as filters the upper one of the last two was taken mere seconds before the next. But, without enough cloud for filter you see a lot of glare.
