Fig, this was posted in Maggie's by a Danish troll already. I think the best thing that we can do is lessen its impact is to not publicize it any further or point it out. De Niro is lost to me. He seems to have latched onto a cause célèbre to ease the agony of his irrelevance as he rapidly ages into B-list territory.
Seriously? Lessen it's impact? I disagree. The only impact I see is that he's turning himself into a clown, and highlighting how out of touch these actors actually are.

Hey, didn’t he play someforgettable throwaway character in that lame ass movie Jackie Brown? I remember seeing The Godfather part 2 and thinking that Robert Deniro was a very good actor. Much later I saw Tarantino’s Jackie Brown and His role made me realize that actors are whores and will take any part that pays. I watch movies for what they are- I have learned that Tarantino flicks are 2 hours of your life you cannot get back. But, beyond the causal “hey wasn’t he in...?” I don’t pay much attention to who is playing what. Beyond a movie or tv show, I pay no attention to what an actor has to say.

I still say there should be a five year NATO mandate that a country either meets their obligations, or they are expelled from the organization.

You must be very young not to see how much Denmark has changed, and how fast it’s going down hill, probably because you don’t understand why Danish Socialism worked, so you now don’t understand why it is failing and the only solution is to introduce the free market back into all aspects of society.
I could point out so many simple things that are now ruined, but living in Copenhagen you probably don’t notice a thing.
I love visiting, but I always leave sad both for how fast it’s going downhill, and for how unless you conform there is really never any hope for any kind of greatness or an exceptional life. The system is failing rapidly, and with the exception of communists and the furthest left in the Social Democrats, liberal reforms are being made. You can’t have both diversity and socialism. They cancel each other out. You’re not very worldly or wise after all.

Actually he didn't. He was opposed to him until he changed his mind which was actually a pretty well thought out decision. Minority unemployment at practically an all time low, minority homeownership up, wages show slight increase also. As I mentioned, a logical decision.

What gets me, is the general fact that NOBODY ever 100% agrees with EVERYTHING Any President does. Trump's done a few things I don't like (& I voted for him), but for the most part, he's followed-through on his campaign promises, which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for 90% of these elected thieves.
