    Will someone please educate me on how Trumps comments are racist? I haven’t read anything racist at all. In fact, I believe the statement in question is the one where he said, “if you don’t like it here then you can leave!” How is that racist?

    One could argue that the Republicans voting to impeach Clinton (which of course went nowhere in the senate) actually greatly helped his political career.

    My guess is this could be the same thing. In that what Trump needs is folks to get motivated to get off their rear ends and mad enough at the democrats to go show up at the polls and vote for him. So this would probably do the trick

    And I doubt even our backstabbing Republicans are going to risk letting it get anywhere in the senate. I think they are about smart enough to realize as much as they hate Trump, they do that and well the don't have a seat at the country club dining table anymore.

    They have no concrete policy agenda, no direction forward, and no strategy for the next election cycle other than to find ANYTHING to impeach Trump on to get him out of the way.

    First. "High crimes and misdemeanors". Nothing in what he says in his presentation/diatribe meets those criterion. Second. He should have stuck to R&B and left the law making stuff to the criminals (yeah, I know). Third. There aren't enough votes in his party, much less both houses of Congress, to get the writ. And last but certainly not least. We are collectively screwed insofar as getting any meaningful legislation passed through 2020. Amen.
