Looking into a budget thermal scanner for spotting coyote through elk sized game at distance. I'm looking for input from those of you that know thermals more than I. 2 options I have found are these...

Athlon Cronus ATS Thermal Monocular 35M-400

PulsarAxion 2 XQ35 Pro Thermal Monocular

Both are right around the $1500 but I cannot decide which is the better device. Or I can save a couple hundred extra and buy the pulsar axion xm30f. If you had $1500 for a small scanner like the ones listed. Which are you picking? Or are there better options? Thanks

I don't have the Athlon. Is it a rebranded Chinese?

The Axion 2 XQ35 is pretty neat, get it with the LRF like me.
The XM30F ain't bad, and VERY small, but not as good image.

I have athlon scopes and have been impressed. The athlon thermal has slightly better thermal resolution than the pulsar. Looks pretty good on video but seems to be very new.
