Yeah, they're going to be "fun" alright, right up until the point in time that people are being spied on for nefarious, dubious and outright criminal reasons.......

I don't get any vote in this, but I think these are going to cause some serious "societal shit" issues. People are getting fed up with constantly being under observation/surveillance. With the ability to digitally alter pictures and video, all this stuff is going to be a real problem, sooner rather than later.

Sorry, I came across dickly with my post, it wasn't directed at you in any way. (mr. passion, meet mr. kneejerk......).

It just seems like with everything going on these days, societal behavior is going (very much) in the wrong direction. I see these cameras as making it worse, not better.

Your intended use is pretty benign and I'm certain there wouldn't be any problem. It's the idiots out there, doing stupid things with them that I worry about. Or worse yet, smart people using them with ill intent.
