I haven't ever gotten to handle one, but they look great and I love the splotchy etch finish that he uses. TAD Gear sells 'em, which speaks well of the quality. Let us know what you think if you get one.

The blade on that is made from the same carbon steel that my Katan is made from - very nice.
Everything I've read says you can't go wrong although I am not so keen on the handle - I'd probably be more prone to use it until the handle starts to wear (Which doesn't look to be terribly long in knife-years) then put a wooden custom made handle on.
But that's just me, and I'm doing a custom handle for my Katana as well - most people maybe don't know how to do that stuff.
