Can i get a longer barrel on something other than the base build? I wanted 26in in 308

Templar/Templar V2 or Remington action? Im guessing the templar has a better tolerances...

Any downside with an integrated rail of the templar?

I'm sure ill have a couple other questions later. I'm going to call them sometime next week

Yes, you can spec out a different length barrel. No downside to having integral lug or rail. You can't go wrong with GAP. Call Ken and get your build in line and have patience.

Templar action is a superior action. The integrated rail will make the action stiffer.
The only downside to the integrated rail is the inability to change to a different cant.
Do you really need a 26" barrel on a .308?
You'll only add about 50 FPS over a 24" (with all else being equal) and you'll add weight and reduce maneuverability. Of course, not a big dig for a range only rifle.
