Corrupt police departments will destroy society and the idea of law and order way faster than criminals could ever hope to do.
It's good that finally some of these guys are being held accountable, but it's a bit too little too late, and I don't see enough higher ups being punished.

But, I suppose these Cops did all come up through the public education system. I travel a great deal for business and the education level of my customers seems to be fairly stable. There have always been the occasional dim bulbs, but I've run into them at about the same frequency over the years. What DOES concern me is this kind of blatantly STUPID shit. 5 of 'em.....not one of them said "hey guys, let's take it down a notch, the guy is OBVIOUSLY just picking up garbage".
You guys remember the KAL crash @ SFO when there were 5 Korean pilots on the flight deck at the time of the crash ? WTF ? 5 of you, you're all pilots and not one of you took any action ? Haysoos Crisco !

Statistically and worst case, there should be no more fuckups in LE than amongst Doctor / Lawyer / Indian Chief / Dishwasher. Conceptually, b/c LE does a fair amount of pre-employment screening relative to other gigs out there, there should be a significant statistical difference in the number of turds in LE vs other.
One message that has been hammered home in the last few decades and most particularly in blighted areas, is that The Man, ain’t yer friend....don’t help The Man, snitches get stitches and all that. The message is that instead of joining the police force and making a difference in your own community - attack it. Use the MSM to highlight the fuckups once exposed, in order to cast a specter on the entirety of LE.

No worries about anything here. This is just a live training exercise for the upcoming red flag gun laws. All you really need to do is just get used to it.
Not just a question for LE, but for media as well. It is memories of all the articles we've seen over the years, of "people's homes being raided" and "caches of firearms and ammunition" being confiscated for multitudes of reasons.

Yep, there are shitty/corrupt teachers, DR's, mechanics, plumbers, POLITICIANS, ETC.............
LEO are in a position of power far above the average man, so I pay attention to them more.
Just the tip of the iceberg. Two local Sheriffs Dept had huge scandals in the last 18 months. Sheriffs were allowed to retire quietly. In both cases the Sheriffs were " I din-no-nuffing". In the case in my county that is bull shit as the State auditor told him he had a problem about a year prior. In the case of the county neighboring mine 7 officers were fired, 5 of the 7 lost their LEO certificate, 3 were demoted. The details of that investigation are so disturbing you would hurl, I am not sure what is public info so I will not post them to keep a couple of friends from getting in trouble for telling me.
9 other officers quit because the dept had become so toxic with oversight and the press. No one wants to work for that dept right now as they are having a huge issue filling the empty spots.
You'll also notice that this is happening yet again in another wonderful Democrat/Communist controlled Utopia...

Most of these stories seem to come from places the Democrats are in full control (Just like Dallas here in TX last year).
