I’ve seen pics of new savage and Remington barrels that make the one in the pic look like a work of art

It’s amazing how a rough barrel can shoot though.

Very clean bore, ,as I said pre lap.. colour is due to camera settings, not been shot.

Ha, do have a great borescope inspection system, considering the groove is .074" wide. Plan to lap that barrel and snap a pic, just determining whether to do so before or after stress relief. The snake swallowed some more eggs today for testing..Almost ready for primetime.

combination of hawkeye and Olympus. but when you can blow it up on the big screen, well at least more than one of you can look at what you think you see. LOL.

they're looking good though. After heat treat will see, deciding when to pull trigger.

This was so bright was hard to adjust the gain and exposure in. But 416R button
